Interior Design: Concept and Design
Academic Project delivering a healthful multi-use community center that could be easily replicated or relocated.
Access to sunlight, air circulation, and noise control elements were included in the project to meet well being criteria. A versatile modular fixturing system was included in the design in order to increase the breadth of programs for the community. All thresholds and fixtures have been designed to be accessible and inclusive according to the parameters suggested by Universal Design advocacy groups.
The design was developed with a small team consisting of Caroline Lawrence- textile specialist from Urban Outfitters, Reyna Boyer- lighting designer and instructor from Tufts University, and Robin van der Kaa- former brand manager for Lynk and Co Automotive.
