Mogg at KalleHalle. Neukölln, Berlin. Restaurant (2025)
Interior Design
A fast food Kiosk design for restauranteur Paul Mogg's new location in the KalleHalle food market in Berlin Neukölln. This project was done in close work with the client, and needed to fit a very tight budget provided to the client by the management group.
The shell was altered in order to hide the refrigerators necessary for the functioning of the business and to include a lowered accessible POS, making it the only structure in the food court with an accessible POS.
Cladding and bespoke ceramic signage were important for the client’s branding vision. The mahogany stained cladding spoke directly to the wooden furniture and fixtures already in the communal space- connecting the kiosk to the food court's aesthetic.
To connect the former location to the new space- a cascading 'cloud' of pendant lights from the old space was created. This fixture helped define the space, acted as an attractor for visitors, and filled a void in the adjacent unused space.
