Audio Design, Sound Scenography, Acousmatic System and Fixture Design

3 Acousmatic Installations addressing various aspects of the Artists vision which included a 12 channel electroacoustic Choir in the Evangelical Church; a 12 channel electroacoustic choir on a pontoon boat which travelled the length of the river, and a 5 channel meditative installation in a courtyard.

Loudspeakers, wrapped in Akwete cloth, and their accompanying stands which approximated the shape and height of human singers were custom built for the boat installation.

Speakers in the church and the courtyard were purposefully hidden in order to speak to the transcendent and non-corporeal essence of the Holy Spirit and the word of God. Activation of the hall was vital to the audience’s experience.
